We stopped here on a whim en route to a different place and it was excellent! Food was delicious, service was quick, prices were very reasonable. My husband had a combo of chicken/steak fajitas; the meat was so tender and flavorful and the vegetables were fresh and delicious. The tortillas were very obviously homemade. Best chips and guac ever. I had a veggie burrito that I inhaled, and it was $8. Our children loved their chicken nuggets and wings and the fries were well done and yummy. We sat outside and felt very safe during COVID. We would highly recommend!
I've been here multiple times and haven't been disappointed yet, it's a great local place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Definitely not classy or anything too special but it gets the job done. Price is very reasonable for the food you get.
One of my favorite restaurant in east boston the have the best pupusas I really recomend this place
I have eaten probably at every single Salvadorean/Mexican restaurant in East Boston. In my opinion, Pueblo viejo has the most authentic and delicious pupusas in the area. The filling quantity and quantity is top notch and the size is perfect. If you like pupusas or are feeling adventurous to try a new dish; give this place s try. Cheap, delicious food. While you are there, try a Salvadorean enchilada. Get the one with Cerne asada. Eat it with your hands, it gets messy but is part of the experience. They are amazing. Giving this place 4/5 because service is a bit slow.
The food is really good and the service is great! I love the pupusas and get them any time I can. The space is super cute too. Definitely recommend!!!
